Around 2:45 a.m., firefighters and police responded to the scene, which closed northbound Route 202 near Route 401 in East Whiteland Township, according to a spokesperson with Chester County Emergency Services.
They discovered an overturned tanker truck with the cab on fire, authorities said.
The truck was also leaking milk into a storm drain, according to the spokesperson.
The driver was out of the truck when units arrived, the spokesperson said.
Just before 8 a.m., the wreck was cleared, and all Route 202 lanes were reopened, according to authorities.
The ramp to Route 401 remained closed, NBC10 reports.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police - Embreeville Barracks.
